This year, I want to keep better track of the books I read and the things I take away from each of them, so I’ve decided that putting a list of books and some highlights from each up here will help me to do that.
I’ll keep a running list of them on this page, and for each book I’ll publish a post of my highlights, taken from my Kindle, along with anything significant that each book left me with.
The highlights will be things that resonated with me for any number of reasons: sometimes they will just be a nice turn of phrase, others will be things I want to remember for the future, and some may be reflections that had a profound impact or effect on me. I present all of the highlights with no comment or additions because this isn’t about my two cents, it’s about keeping notes and making them available for anyone who may be interested. You may not be, and that’s fine.
These are also not reviews: I pass no judgement on the books themselves beyond, perhaps, letting you know if a book resonated with me or I enjoyed it.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck, Mark Manson
